Well I guess 99% 16-18 year olds have received exams results some way another. How did you all do? I did terrible in my AS levels My only great grade was in Photography, everything else, I did terrible I got a C, a D and 2 Us. It's not enough to keep me in 6th form, so I've made the hard and painful decision to go to college. I will be doing a BTEC National Diploma in Photography & Digital Imaging at TVU in Reading. Equivalent to 3 A-levels. I've discovered that my photography is fine, i'm just not an academic. I never really have been. 'Grades' have never really gone down too well with me. There are many other ways into life other than 'a-levels' its just that some swotty-you-will-have-no-future-if-you-don't-do-a-levels-and-get-a-grades people don't think so. They want nothing but A-grades, and demand nothing else and get in a pissy when they only get a C or whatever. A-LEVELS ARE SUPPOSED TO BE HARD! Advanced-Levels! It's like they don't appreciate the fact that at least they have passed the exam. Some of us are over the moon with achieving the minimum for pass! I don't agree with 'grades' in my opinion it should be that you either pass or you fail.

I also think that subjects like Art, Photography, Literature etc shouldn't be graded, there is always going to be someone who thinks that it is a masterpiece and someone who thinks its a load of shit, so who on earth is an examiner/exam board to 'grade' it!? Just because someone doesn't like the style, it does not mean that it should be a fail! Creative subjects are nothing like Maths or Science, there is no right or wrong answer.
